As the sole organizer of a charity run connecting the University of Waterloo and Stratford campuses in April 2024, I executed a comprehensive promotional campaign to raise funds for Shelter Link Youth Services and the House of Blessing in Stratford.
Leveraging Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I developed a visually compelling and informative campaign that included both print and digital assets to reach the broader Stratford community. Drawing on the lessons learned from a previous running event, I employed a distinctive brand identity featuring italicized title text, a cartoon illustration, and chalk-style elements to capture attention and evoke a sense of movement.
Similar to my last charity event, a primary challenge was ensuring consistent messaging and aesthetics across various ad formats. Through rigorous user testing and peer feedback, I successfully achieved a harmonious balance. This targeted approach effectively generated excitement and participation, contributing to the overall success of the charity run and its positive impact on the supported organizations.
I would like to extend my gratitude to Kaitlyn Tacchino for her invaluable contributions producing the cartoon illustration and assisting in the poster design.
